I've only rather recently discovered Stan's music, so I owe you my most sincere gratitude for sharing this obscure release.

Did you know that Rogers' rendition has a bell-piano called a celesta?

Yesterday my older brother whispered in my ear

He said “There is no Santa Claus or reindeer for his sleigh,
there are no elves for way up north, just lots of ice and Eskimos,
and northern lights dance on the snow and night-time lasts all day.”

And then I told him momma said that Santa’d come tonight
And the stocking on the mantelpiece would soon be full and tight
And the little angel smiling from atop the Christmas tree
Telling me that I’ve been good, reminding me I should recall
The good LORD Jesus who once was less than five like me.

Everybody uses you and says that you’re to blame
Although you still come every year your toys are not the same.

Last year for a Christmas gift, I got a tear gas gun
And on my birthday, aunty sent a toy MiG-21

My kindergarten teacher tells me to hate all that’s red

And with my brand-new CIA kit question him until
