Review by Anjana Nair

Il Gobbo, the album by Piero Piccioni, is a masterpiece of Italian film music. The album features a collection of 14 tracks that showcase the composer's unique style and ability to create music that perfectly captures the emotions and moods of the films they were created for.

The album opens with the hauntingly beautiful "Il Gobbo," a track that perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the album. The track features a haunting melody played on a solo violin, which is then joined by a full orchestra to create a powerful and emotional sound.

Other standout tracks on the album include "La Volpe Dalla Coda Di Velluto," a jazzy and upbeat track with a catchy melody that will have listeners tapping their feet, and "La Donna Nel Mondo," a hauntingly beautiful track that features a solo female voice singing a mournful melody over a simple piano accompaniment.
