Review by Elle Billias

Amir Baghiri's album Ghazal is a mesmerizing journey through the mystical world of Persian poetry and music. The album is a fusion of traditional Iranian music and contemporary electronic sounds, creating a unique and captivating listening experience.

The album features ten tracks, each one exploring a different aspect of Persian culture and history. Baghiri's use of traditional Iranian instruments such as the santoor, daf, and ney, blended with modern electronic beats and textures, create an otherworldly atmosphere that transports the listener to a different time and place.

The haunting vocals of guest artist Mehdi Jahani add an extra layer of emotion to the already rich and intricate compositions. The lyrics, taken from the works of famous Persian poets such as Rumi and Hafez, are delivered with passion and depth, making the album a true celebration of Persian culture and art.
